Guess What I did for exercise today?

Yeah, that is yours truly at THE GROCERY STORE!!! Well, really it was Walmart (let's hope I just don't end up on the people of walmart website lol), but that is ME shopping for the first time in 3-4 years?

It was a very short trip and Erik was with me. I walked the whole produce area and about 5 long aisles shopping mostly the frozen food section. The whole trip was maybe 20 minutes tops and I had to go sit down while Erik got checked out, but I loved every minute of it!!

I am working on getting some pictures uploaded to the blog. I've been working on it tonight and was hoping to post them tonight, but I have to shrink them down so hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow. Honestly, I've taken pictures every week, but even if you look at my day of surgery pic and compare it to the pics I took today, I really can't see a big difference yet and you probably won't either, but that's ok. I feel great and it is only a matter of time before the change is obvious right?

By the way, I HATE that pic of me at Walmart lol. I obviously need to invest in some better bras lol!!

congratulations Michelle, and you are not going to end up on the people of walmart website...haven't you seen the people on there. You don't have a mullet and you aren't wearing a thong...I think you are okay. You are better dressed than 99 percent of the walmart people here.
Can't wait to see comparison pics. We never see the difference but others do.
Keep up the great work.

I remember the first few times i started being able to walk enough to go shopping too! way to go and keep on going woman.

I agree with Chris. You are far too nicely dressed to end up on that site. You're safe. :D

Congratulations on your shopping trip. It is well documented that shopping is excellent exercise. So, shop on. Pretty soon, you will be flying around that store like an unstopable force.

Ten minutes of walking on your tredie is really good. You will be able to slowly increase your distance and time as your weight reduces.

If your calves get tight, a nice calf stretch will help. Stand on a low step or sturdy book or something with your toes up on the step, your heels over the edge and let your calf muscles have a long, gentle stretch.

Fantastic. Did you say you needed to "shrink" the photos. Around here, we like to use the term resize, as shrink has fat connotations. Good luck on your journey !! Great start.

Good going on the walking!! You must be feeling elated at that victory.

FYI, don't wear a red top to Walmart next time .... customers will think you work there. :-) It seems my hubby always wears a red shirt when we're there and he gets about 5 people approach him asking him where things are. It's funny the first time ... after the 3rd, not so much. LOL

Way to go dear!! That is an amazing achievement!! You will not end up on the Walmart page, don't you worry about that, you should be overjoyed that you are out and about, living your life and striving for a better one!!! Congratulations on overcoming this hurdle!! Keep it up!! :)
