I managed to make it through the day on program which right now is a feat for me. I'm low carbing this time around and I met most of my goals, but actually didn't eat enough, but I got a headache earlier and slept through lunch. Dinner was a few meatballs (Erik made spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread for dinner, sweet of him wasn't it?). I wasn't really all that tempted though. I dug the meatballs out of the spaghetti, made a salad and had a few deviled eggs. For a snack I had some sugar free jello and whipped cream. We'll see how I do on this. I usually do best on a low carb diet and it's what all my doctors have recommended given my PCOS. I need to get back on the glucophage though and that's always fun; if you like multiple trips to the bathroom fun that is...
Feeling good so far, keep your fingers crossed for me !!

"The only easy day was yesterday" is a mantra that I believe to be true! You can do this, you need to just take it one day at a time and not let the little things bring you down. I am so looking forward to following you through your journey!-K.T. http://krystros.blogspot.com/
Wishing you luck, sis!
I just found your blog and I saw that you have PCOS. I also have PCOS. I cant wait to see your progress!
Wow, I couldn't have passed up the Spag and garlic bread, so kudos to you! That takes STRENGTH!
My fingers are crossed for you, hun. But I will say this, as far as I'm concerned, you are wonder woman in the flesh to be able to have the God-Given will power to pass up a spigetti spread like that! I couldn't do that in a million years. Even if I was on a diet, the spigetti villian would've kicked my ass good. Kudos to you. Great post. Man, now I want pasta for some reason...
Is it "no carbs" or "no bad carbs"?
I'm curious if you will eat brown rice, for instance.
Dee, for now I'm doing low carb. Trying to keep my carbs under 10% of my diet. I'm not exactly doing induction of atkins though. I'm allowing myself fiber one yogurt, maybe whole wheat tortillas...I'm just going to see how I do really. The last few days, its been fairly restrictive though.
